Hi everyone :) I hope you’re having a nice festival of lights! And to everyone who isn’t Jewish…
I made some french fries. Okay now on to some painting.
One of the things that made me go, “holy SHIT I have to learn how to do that,” was the more modern movement in Japanese woodblock prints called shin-hanga. Here’s on of my favorites, Morning on Tsurugisan (1926) by Yoshida Hiroshi.
And here’s my version. I have a long way to go, but I learned a lot. I might re-do this sometime soon… maybe. Probably.
I also wrote a bunch of lore and design notes for a card game I’m loosely working on called PSYON-X. It’s kind of like Magic + Chaotic + Netrunner + … idk if this sentence will even mean anything to anyone… My notes are not very pretty to look at right now but here’s a poster I made.
